1. You want to hear your baby’s first words
There is a greater chance that your baby will say daddy (although poorly pronounced) before they pronounce mommy. But you are not worried about whether it is Da-Da they pronounce first or Ma-Ma, you just want to hear their first words.
2. You want to see them make their first steps
Their first steps are always shaky and unbalanced. But through the stumbling, they take the effort to walk and make their steps steady.
3. You always cherish their first photos
Something you will always adore and smile at, probably forever, is the way they stared, winced, cried or smiled at the camera for the first time.
4. You love to see them dance
Every mom gets amused at the way their babies dance. Because it is always pretty comical. And they are not shy or awkward about it. Your baby wants to have fun.
5. You love their innocence
They really have no worries or grudges. They pretty repeat the same routine everyday – eat, play and sleep.
6. You smile at their curiosity
They seem to want to know everything. They are always staring and want to find out why your dress is blue, red or yellow, or what new gadgets or toys you brought in. They are really curious, and that makes every new mom smile.
7. They seem to create a divide
There is a choice between the mom and the dad. Perhaps their love goes to the mom because they want to eat something. But you can’t really know where their loyalty lies.
8. You love the fact that they gain weight
You smile at the sight of them getting older and bigger. You check their weight on a scale every now and then.
9. You love the attention everyone shows you
Everyone seems to want to cuddle your baby and wants to have a piece of them. Every new mom loves the attention they suddenly receive after having a baby.
10. You smile at every present you are given
People will offer you presents and treat you special. But nothing compares to the attention and appreciation from your hubby who sees you as amazing for delivering his baby.
11. You have that feeling of accomplishment
You are proud of yourself. And every time you stare at the baby you seem to appreciate the moments and months you endured of waiting for this wonderful gift.
12. You find out you’re getting back to your former weight
Every day your tummy seems and body fat seems to become lesser. You smile that you are able to wear and fit into your pre-pregnancy clothes.
13. You smile at how they try to imitate everything you do.
Your baby smiles when you smile and wants to repeat your actions. Even when you are in the kitchen, and they notice how you cook, they want to behave the same way also.
14. You don’t know if they’re simple or so intelligent
They really do stupid stuff. But that adds to their intelligence, because they yearn to learn and to grow and adapt to their new environment.
15. You cherish when they sleep
